Wang Power
Monday, May 22nd, 2006One of the game sequels we were all interested in seeing at E3 this year was Guitar Hero II. There’s this strange phenomenon I observed in people who have played a lot of Guitar Hero; they’ll be listening to a song on the radio and shout out how awesome it would be if that song was in the Guitar Hero game. So from the countless times I’ve heard someone say that about a song, including myself, we were excited to see what songs would be in the next game.
The game itself has not been changed in any major way as thousands of Guitar Hero fans would freak out it they ruined the game. But the game does feature a new co-op multiplayer mode where player two takes on the role of the bass player, although this is not always the case. To activate star power in co-op mode both players must point their axes to the sky at the same time. It can be a little funny to see the two players trying to work together when they have their minds on other things.
